Zinc sulfate is an inorganic chemical that is widely used in industry, agriculture and other fields.
Zinc sulfate is mainly classified according to the amount and state of its crystal water:
Zinc sulfate monohydrate (Zinc sulfate monohydrate), chemical formula Znso4·H2O, appearance is white powder, granules
Zinc sulfate heptahydrate (zinc sulfate heptahydrate), also known as white vitriol, zinc vitriol , chemical formula ZnSO4·7H2O, appearance is white orthorhombic crystals.
Application of zinc sulfate
● Agricultural field: used as zinc supplement in feed processing, aquaculture nutrition supplement, used as zinc fertilizer in agriculture, used for foliar fertilizer spraying or as soil base fertilizer to improve soil zinc deficiency;
● Industrial field: zinc sulfate is an auxiliary raw material for the production of viscose fiber and vinylon fiber, used in the production of chemical fiber silk, rayon, artificial wool, as mordant, preservative for wood and leather, zinc plating electrolyte, paper bleaching agent (with hypochlorous acid), reagent, pesticide, inhibitor for mineral processing, and production of zinc barium white pigment and other zinc salts.
Storage method:
● Store in a ventilated, cool and dry warehouse. The packaging should be sealed firmly to prevent damage.
● Heat-proof, waterproof and moisture-proof. And pay attention to separate storage from strong acids and edible raw materials.
